Our designs for the healthcare sector are built on accessibility, and include planning for ambulant disabled and wheelchair users, using colour contrast for the visually impaired and bespoke designs for residents with dementia and other special needs.

We work alongside engineers, acousticians, and fire consultants to ensure the building is fit for purpose and safe. 

We work alongside our historic building consultancy professionals, to deliver refurbishment projects, respecting the buildings’ character, special architectural features and highlighting areas of historic interest, whilst upgrading the building for modern use. 

Our team of experts produce plans, elevations, details, and 3D renderings to achieve listed building consent, as well as producing technical drawings for construction, answer queries and inspect the quality of the work when the project is on site.

Together with our Property Consultancy & Strategy team we provide estate strategy services including feasibility studies with options appraisals, and business case financial modelling. We advise on estate rationalisation and consolidation to improve the efficiency of assets, saving costs and achieving carbon targets.

Our expert designers will collaborate and work with you to provide a wide range of solutions, communicated via mood boards, sketches and finalised space plans, together with an outline specification and up to date project programme. 

We take into consideration all factors, including the constraints of the existing building, the developed design strategy and the function and utility of the space. Furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF+E), artwork, graphic design, wayfinding, lighting, and the audio-visual strategy is conceived holistically at this stage.  

We offer 3D visualisation services, modelling designs in Revit, as well as photo realistic CGIs (computer generated images) or hand sketches to capture and communicate concepts and precise design intent.

Our team coordinates with structural engineers, service engineers, acousticians, health and safety, fire officers, system providers and other professionals required for the project, including furniture fabricators to develop any bespoke furniture designs required. 

The design is developed to comply with building regulations and align with the project programme, cost plan and project strategies. We offer consultation services with the local planning authority as well as planning application advice. 

Our interior design team along with our architectural technicians prepare and coordinate the construction information required to tender the project, including technical drawings, such as plans, elevations and details, schedules, and specifications.

Services include full building specification, building regulations application and tender estimates.

Our experienced architects, project managers and quantity surveying team support clients to create a procurement route that is not only suited to the requirements of their business, but that also meets the project’s requirements effectively. We prepare the tender and contract documents, such as bills of quantities, as well as tender analysis reports. 

During the construction phase of a project our design team inspects the quality of the installation, monitors progress on site and answers site queries.
