She has also developed a keen interest in the creation of urban strategies to shape successful and sustainable places.

Carter Jonas provided strategic property advice to Swansea Council as the Council took the role of developer and funder of the Swansea Arena and Copr Bay projects.

These two projects are core elements of the city’s regeneration agenda and a major step towards the city’s transformation into a vibrant living, working and leisure destination.

The development comprises a new 3,500 capacity arena, let to ATG and a new multi-storey car park. It also includes six new F&B units, all let to good quality independent operators, and new homes. A landmark bridge and a 1 acre coastal park provide an important link between the city centre, the development and the seafront. The second phase will comprise an additional car park and a new hotel.

Carter Jonas supported the Council throughout the development process from the appointment of the professional team, securing funding for the development, lettings advice (including on the pre-let to the arena operator) and monitoring through the construction phase.

The development completed in 2022 and is injecting an additional £17.1m into the city’s economy annually.
