Location

Soham is a town located around 5 miles from the A14 Junction 37, 9 miles from Newmarket and 16 miles northeast of Cambridge. It has a population of around 10,200 people (2011 census) and is a designated a rural growth settlement.

Plot A benefits from good transport links with Soham Station circa 1 mile south of the site and Ely Station circa 6 miles away. Soham Station provides hourly direct services to Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and Ipswich. Ely Station then providing further interchange opportunities to Cambridge, Peterborough, Norwich and London. The nearest bus stop is Barcham Road, less than 500m from the site. Felixstowe Port is c. 60 miles east of the site via the A14.
