Our commercial real estate graduate scheme helps property graduates become RICS qualified surveyors, enabling them to provide professional, agency, valuation, landlord/tenancy advice and more to our clients.
Our commercial teams are based in our hub offices throughout the UK. Here, we provide advice to an array of clients on a variety of commercial sectors, including office, industrial, retail & leisure, and science & technology.

What does a commercial graduate scheme offer?
Our commercial graduate scheme covers three rotations of eight months each, and can be completed with the following teams:
- Office Agency, including within our dedicated tenant advisory team
- Consultancy & Strategy
- Development
- Property & Asset Management
- Investment
- Valuations
- Industrial Agency
- Landlord & Tenant
We invest in our graduates from day one, providing a structured training programme, an APC supervisor or counsellor, and regular assessments to ensure you achieve the full level of competency required for your APC.
Commercial real estate serves a vast array of purposes across both the public and private sectors, meaning your work as a chartered surveyor in the commercial property industry will be wide-ranging. You’ll have the chance to support businesses across retail & leisure, office and industrial.
What are the pathways into a commercial graduate scheme?
The RICS graduate scheme is suitable for those who have a RICS accredited degree, (such as Real Estate) who are interested in becoming a qualified commercial surveyor.
We also offer a non-cognate route to the RICS graduate scheme for those who are willing to study towards a master’s - please see our apprenticeship page for further information. Please note, you can still apply for this opportunity through our graduate recruitment application process.
The RICS competency framework ensures those applying for the RICS qualification are competent to practise and meet the highest standards of professionalism required by RICS.
