UK Power Networks has awarded national property consultancy Carter Jonas a Framework Contract associated with Lots 1, 2 and 4.
UK Power Networks owns and maintains electricity substations, cables and power lines across London, the South East and the East of England and makes sure power flows reliably, safely, and securely. Carter Jonas has secured a four-year mandate with the operator, with a possible extension of three years. Carter Jonas’ team will identify, develop and deal with consents associated with the construction or modification of buildings, and the installation of underground cables or overhead lines across private land.
Carter Jonas will be involved with a range of schemes from their conception through to the construction and closure of projects. The firm will work closely with UK Power Networks to assist in securing consents on the electricity distribution network.
