2 April 2013, Carter Jonas has been awarded a place on the Government Procurement Service's (GPS) (now known as the Crown Commercial Service, CCS) Framework Agreement RM928 for Estates Professional Services for the supply of property consultancy services.
Government Procurement Service is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office. Its overall priority is to provide procurement savings for the whole of the UK public sector.
The four-year framework agreement is for use by all UK public sector bodies including (but not limited to) central government departments and their agencies, non departmental public bodies, NHS Bodies and local authorities. For absolute assurance that a public sector body is able to access the framework, they are advised to check the OJEU contract notice published on the Government Procurement Service website.
As part of the agreement, Carter Jonas will provide wide ranging property advice to the UK's public sector covering: Agency, Professional, Planning, Valuations, Building Consultancy, Rating and General Estate Management and Consultancy.

Carter Jonas has more than 500 partners and staff that work across its network of 27 offices in England and Wales. As part of the Framework Agreement, Carter Jonas has six sub-contractors with which it will work to provide full and UK wide property consultancy.
Richard Waterson MRICS, who recently joined Carter Jonas as a partner from Lambert Smith Hampton, will lead the GPS account.
