10 January 2012, Carter Jonas' Oxford residential sales and lettings teams have moved their Summertown office 23 doors down towards Oxford City Centre and across the Banbury Road.

The 13-strong team has moved from Anchor House on 269 Banbury Road to open in 256

Banbury Road on 7 January 2013. The residential teams have joined Carter Jonas' Commercial, New Homes, Rural and Professional Services teams who already occupy the first floor of Mayfield House, directly above the new office. An internal staircase has been installed to link the two offices so that Carter Jonas' 70-strong workforce can best service their clients.

Mark Charter, partner, head of residential, Carter Jonas Oxford explained: "Our clients demand and expect from us property expertise and market intelligence. To coincide with the move, Carter Jonas has launched a 'Moving is an art' campaign. The initiative celebrates both the rich arts and culture that are abundant in Oxfordshire and the complete understanding that moving is one of the most amazing and emotional things that one can do in their life.

Mark Charter added: 'Our 'Moving is an art' campaign will span the next 12 months. We do so much with the arts in this great City and it made sense to embrace it. To kick off, we are celebrating our move by inviting budding artists from Oxfordshire to send in pictures to use in our brand new Home gallery. The theme is: "Home" - an original photograph, drawing or painting in any medium. The competition is open to all ages, 0-100+ years and prizes are to be won.

As for the Oxfordshire residential property market in 2013, Mark Charter added: 'In the Spring, we are anticipating increased activity in the Oxford City and Oxfordshire country house markets.
