4 July 2012, Property consultancy Carter Jonas has been appointed by developer Francis Jackson Homes to handle sales of the homes at its first development in the heart of Peterborough.

While the developer has built homes in Yarwell and in other parts of Cambridgeshire and linked-up with Carter Jonas’s new homes specialists on these developments, its development of 5, detached family homes in a mature setting on Westwood Park Road, is its first in Peterborough city.

As one of the city’s premium residential locations, permission to build brand new homes is quite a coup for the developer whose reputation is founded on building high quality new homes at the top-end of the market.

Zoё Davies, who leads Carter Jonas’s new homes team in the area and is heading the sales effort at Westwood Park Road, believed that the development would attract serious interest from the outset.

She says: “Francis Jackson Homes has no standard house types. Each home is designed to suit its position in each development’s location and the developer actively encourages its buyers to get on board early in the build process to influence the layout and specification of what will be their own home - so the design of homes Westwood Park Road will not appear anywhere else.

“Proof of the appeal of the homes is the fact three properties have already been bought off-plan.

“We have been appointed as agent on this development to ensure it is sold-out in the optimum timescale.  We’re advising any potential purchasers to talk with us about either of the remaining plots sooner rather than later.”

The guide price for the remaining plots – 3 and 4 – is £575,000.
