Immortalised on the front of the Yorkshire Tea box, 250-year-old Beckside Cottage in Staithes, North Yorkshire is reckoned to be one of the UK’s most pictured properties.

Carter Jonas’ York office has been instructed to sell the former fisherman’s cottage, which sits in a prime position overlooking the confluence of the Roxby Beck and harbour, close to Staithes beach. Used as a holiday home and successful holiday rental for many years, the property is “a particularly rare and very viable investment”, according to Edward Stoyle, the agent selling the property.
