03 March 2014, Bath property firm Carter Jonas beat tough competition to win an award for best estate agent/property company in the annual Bath Life Awards.

Carter Jonas picked up the award at a ceremony at Bath’s Assembly Rooms. There were 18 categories ranging from arts to pubs celebrating the best of Bath’s business community.

Since moving to its offices in Wood Street three years ago Carter Jonas has gone from strength to strength across all its departments and is the only national property agency operating in the city which provides a service across all aspects of the property market. Recent appointments now bring its staff to almost 30.

The judges remarked: “If I trust anyone in this industry, it’s Carter Jonas. They’ve always been honest, trustworthy. Give the best advice – and have a real breadth of offering.”

David Mackenzie, residential partner said: “There are 30-40 estate agents in Bath so we’re all thrilled to have won and it’s in no small part due to the hard work of all our staff that we have achieved this award.

“Our estate agency sales and lettings teams have at times faced a difficult market but I’m pleased to say in spite of that we have achieved excellent results. Prospects are looking really positive as we head to the busy spring market.”
