Our professionals, in association with Sturt and co, have announced the launch of an 87.2-acre (35.289 hectare) freehold residential development opportunity in Norfolk, at South Wootton, to the north east of King’s Lynn.

This new housing development site promises to transform the supply of much-needed homes in the King’s Lynn area. The site was allocated for housing by Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council, with the planning application being granted on appeal. 

The site will include affordable housing and has been designed to create much needed local facilities with open spaces, play areas, sports pitches, car park and shops. The scheme will also see money spent on key improvements to bus, walking and cycling routes in the area. King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council needs to build more than 500 new homes a year to meet national targets.

An indicative masterplan accompanies the outline planning consent. All planning, legal and technical documentation, including the signed S106 agreement, is available via a microsite which can be access on request. The closing date for tenders is Thursday 4 February 2021.
