The external agreement demonstrates the firm’s commitment to changing how mental health is thought about in the workplace.
The pledge signed by Chief Executive Mark Granger and Head of HR Claire Matthews commits Carter Jonas to addressing the challenge of mental health and wellbeing.
As part of the pledge, Carter Jonas has published a seven point action plan that aims to establish and maintain an environment that supports the mental health and wellbeing for all of Carter Jonas’ people. This includes; raising the profile of mental health and wellbeing, preventing the stigma that continues to surround mental health, and providing equal opportunities for all.
One way the business has begun to fulfil the pledge is through its recent partnership with LionHeart – the charity who support industries associated with RICS. LionHeart has opened their support service to everyone at Carter Jonas and their families. The partnership with LionHeart also provides an opportunity for team leaders at Carter Jonas to partake in the industry leading Managing Mental Health training programme.
Alongside the Time to Change pledge Carter Jonas recently attained the Investors in People Health and Wellbeing Award, a further reflection of the firms commitment to creating a healthy and productive workplace for all.
